History

The companies in the MVI Group have a long and successful history within the automotive sector. In 1968 Julius Kiss founded IVM Engineering in Munich as an internationally active development service company focused predominantly on the automotive industry. Further companies were added over the years. Within the sector the IVM Engineering Group developed into one of the most important development partners for the international automotive industry.

In the summer of 2002 the German division IVM Automotive was sold off. All further companies as well as the non-domestic automotive engineering activities were brought together under the roof of the new MVI Group.

At the beginning of 2003 the two Managing Partners Arpad Kiss and Dr Elke Kiss-Preußinger founded the new corporate entity, the MVI Group. A new-style service company was created under this roof. As before, the primary focus of the Group remains the international mobility industry.
