| Under the name “MVI Group” the remaining parts of the former IVM Engineering Group have been repositioned in the market. Approximately one year after the Munich-based business family Kiss sold the German development division IVM Automotive to the Remscheid-based Edscha Group, the remaining companies are being realigned under the roof of the MVI Group. The primary sector focus remains the international automobile industry. | |||
| “The MVI Group is an entirely new type of innovative service-provider within the automobile industry,” says Managing Partner Arpad Kiss, describing the repositioning of the company which employs some one thousand people at over twenty locations around the world. Individual companies within the Group focus on product development in Brazil, Spain, Great Britain and the USA, while others concentrate on factory and production planning as well as information technologies. A new corporate focus: the co-ordination of process and project management tasks for complex product development projects on behalf of clients. However the Group does not currently offer technical consulting or engineering services in the field of automobile development in Germany. | |||
| “This move is a timely response to changes in the demand profile of the market,” says Kiss, outlining the company’s strategic realignment. “Automobile manufacturers increasingly outsource their development projects to the system suppliers responsible for component production. This is reducing the importance of traditional development services. For this reason we are now offering carefully tailored services in the field of process management,” says Kiss. Within the MVI Group the new management services are rendered in particular via the company Promotive GmbH as an independent new corporate division. | |||
| “As a neutral partner and on the basis of our comprehensive know-how within the automobile industry, we manage complex development projects along the entire process chain, including vehicle trials,” says Kiss, describing the broad spectrum of services rendered by the realigned corporate group. The MVI Group comprises the three divisions “Process-Management”, “Engineering” (currently only available overseas) and “Human Capital Services & Consulting”. | |||
| The employees of the “MVI Group” have at their disposal in-depth sector expertise that has developed over decades. A wide range of services along the automobile development process chain, such as for example factory and assembly planning, overall vehicle trials and homologation characterise the specialist capabilities of the corporate group. At international sites such as in Great Britain, Spain, Brazil or the USA, design and construction services in the classic production development field are also rendered. | |||
| Because qualified employees
play an increasingly central role in the complex product development process
chain, the MVI Group also offers support in the field of human capital services,
such as e.g. in the field of employee qualifications, innovative learning
systems and personnel management. |
